About
A name born from the Latin for “messenger”.
In Latin, nuntius is a messenger. It is also the message itself, the news being carried. We took our name from it, because that is exactly the job.
One word's journey
- nuntius
A messenger, the bearer of news, and also the news itself. Through Italian, it gave English nuncio, the Pope's envoy.
- nuntiare
To announce, to report. Its compounds annuntiare and pronuntiare reached English, largely through French, as announce and pronounce.
- deorum nuntium
“The messenger of the gods”: how the Roman poet Horace described Mercury, in the ode he wrote in his honour (Odes 1.10).
- Nuntiva
Built to carry the message between a business and its customers, so every call gets answered and every enquiry gets logged, at any hour.
Who we are
Nuntiva, by Dahan Digital
We spent many months developing Nuntiva so any business owner can set up their own agent, with no code.
It was built from the ground up for Hebrew and the Israeli market: natural Hebrew on the call, prices in shekels, a WhatsApp follow-up after the call, and opening hours that know about Shabbat and the Jewish holidays.
And every call follows the same rules: she says she's an AI, never makes things up, reads every number back for confirmation, and hands over to a person when needed.
